The NUOVA UNIVERSALE 488 is made of a modular structure of joined sections with polycarbonate protections for noise reduction. This guard has been projected for a simple access to the machine and for an easy visual control of the working cycle. An absolute flexibility is granted by the fast and accurate size-change-over assisted by PLC SIEMENS S7, by the machine kinematics controlled by Brushless motors, and by the absence of transmission parts.

WORKING CYCLE: The product is separated and phased according to production requirements and without pressure. It is then put in phase and cyclically selected in order to form groups of containers in the required configuration. The transfer bars convey the groups of products on the forming unit, where the blank tray is inserted under the containers. The side bands of the blank are dosed with hot-melt and then lifted up around the product. After that, the product is wrapped with film.
This system offers the best automation without the supervision of the operator, who only has to check the raw material supply. The machine can automatically adjust the production speed accordingly to real production needs (std, min & max in accordance to the up-stream or down-stream flow).
